ADONIS puts the razzle-dazzle into their hen parties
Raunch rating: 8 (Sex on the beach)
Fun frolics: 9 (Hunks with humour)
Hen happiness: 9 (Flesh, flash and fun)
Promising “the mother of all hen nights”, they big up celebrity recommendations and “as seen on TV” claims about their strippers. We were given a friendly welcome by the host on the door who told us straight faced: “Go and see that man over there and he’ll give you one wink wink.” He was referring to the cocktail of course.
The setting, right on the beach is great and the atmosphere thanks to a good DJ is buzzing. There are pre-show cocktails and the buffet is excellent. Our host for the evening was drag artiste Davina Sparkle. Now hate to be bitchy but I’m sorry to say she is possibly the ugliest drag artiste I have ever clapped eyes on. Where did she get that wig? Charles II with eyelashes and boobs!
The temperature, tempo and other things too rose as soon as the main attraction arrived two gorgeous hunks dressed as firemen, bounded or stage. (Actually they made their entrance as gorillas and then stripped off a layer).
The routines were slick and fun and The Jokers piano trick (yes, he plays the keyboard with his fella) had the audience hooting and shouting. However Tristan Tristar bears a passing resemblance to Prince William which had the hens almost laying eggs.
The night is professionally run and has a great, friendly atmosphere. They got all the brides to be up on stage and made a fuss of them. And legally, they take it very seriously I almost choked on my cocktail when I was asked to sign a disclaimer saying I wouldn’t faint at the sight of a willy. Davina had the audience belting out crowd pleasers like I’m Every Woman and I Will Survive I personally loved the fat Elvis impression. After the show, the girls stay on and join the Babylon beach party. Show, buffet and club night.
